Wow, I was totally unprepared for the rush of orders I was going to receive for the holiday seasons. I think you guys actually like my stuff! I've had tremendous success over the past several days on both Etsy.com and locally amongst my friends and people that they know.
With each piece that I make, comes referrals. Somebody sees it and wants to know where it came from. That's awesome! I am so grateful to my friends for supporting me by wearing my jewelry and advertising for me for free.
Due to the rush of orders, I completely ran out of sterling stamping discs. I've been placing orders for more since last week, but with each day that goes by, I need to order more and more due to more orders coming in. At this point, I should be receiving three orders tomorrow. One that I placed and ordered with regular shipping, and two with express shipping. That's just for blanks. I've also had to order charms and additional chain too. As soon as the supplies come in, I create a piece and ship it out.
Currently, I am only sitting on a backlog of 14 orders! Bah ha ha ha... only! But, when my discs arrive tomorrow, most of those will be completed and shipped by Wednesday. I had my mom come up and act as Santa's elf. She's the only one who I know can put a piece of my work together correctly. That way, I can do the bulk of the work, and then have her put it together and attach the charms, etc. Now I just have to teach her how to pack an order and prepare it for shipment.
